About The Fuller Center 

The Fuller Center helps to build houses for those in need in San Salvador, improving health and safety for the local community. The organization promotes collaborative and innovative partnerships with individuals and organizations to provide adequate shelter for all people in need worldwide.

A Snapshot of San Salvador

San Salvador is located in the central part of the El Salvador and many residents are in dire need of housing. El Salvador is one of the most densely populated countries in the world. About 30 percent of the population lives below the poverty line and many live in dangerous and inadequate housing situations.

Volunteering at The Fuller Center

The Fuller Center often welcomes volunteers to work with homeowners and other volunteers on building a house. Depending on the project tasks may include: clearing the land, digging foundations, laying bricks, mixing mortar, installing doors and windows, painting the house, and other physical activities. Click on the “learn more” button below to learn more about the organization and about volunteer opportunities.
