Top 20 travel destinations in 2020

A new year calls for new adventures! If you need a little inspiration, here are some top destinations for this year.

1) Sicily

Berlin has a vibrant art scene and opportunities to give back,Baden-Baden is famous for spas, and the countryside has picturesque castles. Morocco has been upcoming for enough years that they have the hotels and services in place but it’s not yet touristy.  It’s an exotic destination with hospitality that makes you feel right at home. With winding medinas, stunning deserts, vibrant cities, and warm and friendly locals, Morocco charmed it’s way onto our list for 2020.

11) Brazil

Brazil is an all time favorite, a permanent resident on the top 20 list.  It’s the perfect mix of beach, jungle, city and culture all with a vibrant twist.  The diversity, dancing and dining will keep you coming back for more.  And since dropping its visa requirements for US citizens, Brazil has made it even easier to experience its beauty and charm.

12) South Africa

From the incredible restaurants popping up around Cape Town, to the delicious Pinotage in the wineland and of course to the incredible animal kingdom, South Africa has it all.  There are so many was to experience South Africa from a more casual perspective to ultimate luxury, there’s something for everybody.  Be sure to check out how you can get a more local experience by volunteering for a day.   

13) Greece

Greece was one of the top travel destinations in 2019 and continues to tend that way in 2020.  With dramatic views of Santorini, the history of Athens and boutique islands of Pyros and Naxos, there is surely a good fit for everyone. This small country that conquered much of the New World has also conquered travelers’ hearts. The art, cuisine, wine, history, and beaches are all on the must-experience list, and since Portugal isn’t massive, you can explore much of the country without spending hours intransit.
